 What You'll Do:

  • Lead Quality Assurance personnel during production, packaging, labeling, and shipping
  • Train and audit personnel on grading procedures
  • Ensure all QA checks are completed accurately
  • Assist the warehouse in the ticketing and rerun process when necessary
  • Follow SOP checklists of standardized procedures
  • Perform all on-line Quality Assurance (QA) functions.
  • Perform necessary miscellaneous chemical and microbiological sampling
  • Perform sample requests and product grading
  • File records and maintain quality control documentation
  • Review daily process records
  • Work closely with production, maintenance and QA teams to resolve quality issues

  What You'll Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED, required
  • One or more years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing or food production environment, preferred 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must demonstrate some operational understanding of machinery involved in the QA process. 
  • Experience conducting inspections, preferred
  • Experience with documentation and record-keeping systems, preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other food safety standards
  • Positive attitude, Strong work ethic, Safety mindset
