Job description

Quality Assurance Manager
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Houston (Pearland), TX team!
As our QA Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality system is maintained in accordance with the ISO9001 -- AS9100 -- NADCAP AC7117 international standards, as well as, reporting on the performance of the quality system for management review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system.
Location: Houston, TX
Salary: $110,000-$135,000

Your Challenge
  • Will be the management representative for all internal and external audits so must know the quality system well. Will be in charge of implementing quality system changes, collecting data necessary to the running of the system, and leading management review meetings.
  • Inspection of hardware and verification of processing parameters in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Seeing that nonconformities are handled in such a way as to prevent their use.
  • Preventing the recurrence of nonconformities by identification, segregation, reporting, initiating corrective action and verifying the corrective action.
  • Training and supervision of Quality department personnel.
  • Creation and maintenance of process instructions to be issued to the shop floor.
  • Calibration of all active monitoring and measuring equipment.
  • Maintenance of customer specifications, drawings, and inspection records.
  • Customer liaison regarding quality.

What You Bring
  • Aerospace quality experience is required
  • Minimum 7-10 years of quality management experience with knowledge of AS9100 & ISO9001:2015 standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer interfacing abilities, able to positively influence others.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage difficult situations.
  • Excellent ability to quickly understand, identify, and correct non-conforming material.
