Job Title: QA Technician
Department: Distribution
Shift: 1st Shift from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $20.35
Reports To : Shift Manager
Will work Saturdays occasionally and may work overtime throughout the week
Essential Duties
The following are the essential duties that I am expected to be able to perform considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skills, judgment, safety knowledge and responsibility. Required essential duties include but are not limited to:
  • Audit pallets from repair lines, production, or vendors to ensure they meet grade, safety, and specification standards
  • Compare physical pallet counts to warehouse management system (WMS) data
  • Ensure all boxes on a pallet are correctly oriented, labeled, and secure.
  • Adhere to normal work schedule
  • Comply with company absenteeism/tardiness policy
  • Identify and sort damaged or unusable pallets for repair or disposal.
  • How to print shipping labels
  • Document discrepancies, maintain inventory records, and report findings to supervisors.
  • Must follow Mannington's General Safety rules
  • Must adhere to Mannington's PPE policy.
  • Ability to lift, stack, and move materials, often up to 60 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to spot small errors in labels, quantities, or pallet defects.
  • Proficiency with computers and tablet-based data entry systems.
  • Strong basic math skills for auditing counts.

Additional duties include:
  • Standing and walking for long periods, often in a warehouse environment.
  • Overtime as required
  • Note: Required to perform any other tasks assigned by Supervisor
  • Able to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Must be able to see small numbers and words as displayed on computer screens.
