Reports to - Director of QA
PositionSummary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to support our embedded engineering teams in delivering reliable and intuitive software solutions. QA Engineers at AxisCare sit within engineering teams as part of our shift-left quality model. In this role you will contribute directly to product quality by developing test strategies, executing testing activities, and collaborating closely with engineers and product managers throughout the development lifecycle. This role balances hands-on testing, automation contributions, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality is consistently built into every release.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts forfunctional,integration, and regression testing
  • Design,maintain, and execute automated test scripts for various components including UI, API, and performance testing
  • Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, andrequirementsanalysis to ensure clarity, testability, and early identification of quality risks
  • Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under varying levels of stress and usage
  • Report, track, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle, ensuringissues are clearly documented and resolved prior to release
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts toimprove product quality and ensure alignment with requirements
  • Assistinidentifyingroot causes of defects andverifybug fixes through targetedvalidation and regression testing
  • Engage with approved AI-assisted testing tools as part of day-to-day work, contributingto the team's ongoing adoption of these tools to improve quality, coverage, andefficiency
  • Contribute to improving testing practices, documentation, and team quality standards
  • Support automation initiatives bymaintainingautomated test suites andidentifyingopportunities to expand test coverage


WhatWe'reLooking For (Required Qualifications)

  • Solid understanding of multiple testing types includingfunctional, integration, regression,performance,and security testing
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, orsimilar frameworks
  • Ability to analyze software requirements and technical specifications to design effectivetest coverage
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages used for test automation such asJavaScript, Python, or Java
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating withcross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple testing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly document issues and testoutcomes
