Job Summary:
BigR.io is a remote-based technology consulting firm headquartered in Boston, MA, specializing in software solutions including custom development and data analytics. They are seeking a QA Data Tester to create, test, and maintain cost scripts, ensuring that client implementations meet specifications and align with project deliverables.
Responsibilities:
• Create, test, and maintain Cost Scripts created using groovy, execute test cases to inspect and verify multiple client implementations according to specifications
• Align closely with the Technical Services team on deliverables and apply prior experience to ensure sound design and well-defined requirements as they relate to thorough functional use cases and test scenarios.
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, and participate in project planning and status meetings as it relates to cost script delivery or auto-enrollment work.
• Monitor and enforce Technical Services related project's established deployment processes and policies working with our Hosting and Client Facing teams
• Apply engineering expertise to establish the right depth and breadth of test criteria necessary to certify platform configurations as implemented.
• Efficiently execute test cases, document outcomes and track all defects to resolution.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience working in Agile environment
• SQL knowledge is mandatory
• Programming skills (Java, Groovy, JavaScript)
• Soap UI Knowledge is Required
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly energetic, responsible, organized, self-disciplined, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision
• Understanding of XML technologies (XML, XSD, XSL/XSLT)
• Experience using SVN
• Knowledge with Putty/SSH
