QA Automation Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our technology team and help drive quality across modern web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation, a solid understanding of software quality engineering best practices, and exposure to AI-powered development and testing tools. Experience within the banking or financial services industry is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
• Load testing using JMeter
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and architects to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Develop automated testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Explore and leverage AI-assisted testing tools and practices to improve efficiency and test coverage.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Test Automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing in modern DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.
• Exposure to AI technologies, AI-assisted software development, or AI-driven test automation solutions.
