The Role

The QA Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of POS and e-commerce applications. Working within a cross-functional Agile team of developers, product managers, and QA specialists, this roleis responsible forexecuting both manual and automated testing, contributing to test strategy, defectmanagementand continuous improvement of QA processes.

The QA Analyst collaborates closely with development and business teams tovalidateretail systems,integrationsand store solutions, ensuring high-quality software releases that support business operations.

In addition to software testing responsibilities, this role will support maintenance and organization of the office retail lab environment, ensuring hardware systems, POS equipment, and testing environments are properly configured and available to support project testing needs.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of QA activities, apply testing best practices and expandexpertiseacross retail platforms, POSsystemsand modern testing. You are a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys solving problems, communicating clearly, and collaborating effectively with others across a variety of project environments.

This is an on-site role based in our office, as it requires regular hands-on access to the lab,hardwareand other testing equipment that cannot be effectively supported in a remote environment.


In this role,you'll


  • Plan, design, and execute manual and automated testing for Oracle Retail andJumpmindretail applications, ensuring software quality through functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Performfunctional, regression, integration, performance and security testing across multiple systems and environments.
  • Validate retail business workflows, system integrations, and end-to-end transaction processes.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira, collaborating closely with developers to ensuretimelyresolution.
  • Contribute to test strategy development, test planning, and QA process improvements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing and work with version control systems to support test execution, software releases, and continuous delivery.
  • Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments for project teams and stakeholders.
  • Support end-to-end system validation, including integration with retail backend systems and external services.
  • Assistwith test automation initiatives,identifyingopportunities to improve test efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality standards across retail applications and digital platforms.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and QA best practices within the team.
  • Maintain and support theofficeretail lab environment, including POS systems, peripherals, and testing hardware used for QA validation.
  • Assistwith lab setup, hardware configuration, and troubleshooting of retail equipment to support testing activities.
  • Ensure lab systems are properlymaintainedand available for internal teams and remote testing support when needed.
  • Provide hands-on support for remote teams requiring physical access to lab systems or hardware.
  • Willing and able to travel to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, to support project implementations, testing, and customer engagements.



Experience & Qualifications


  • Experience with Oracle RetailXstoreor similar Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing,including bothmanual and automated testing.
  • Solid understanding of Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience using defect tracking and test management tools, such as Jira.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple testing activities within fast-paced project environments.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle databases, with the ability to write and analyze SQL queries tovalidatetest data, verify transactions, and troubleshoot system issues during testing.


Preferred Experience


  • A good levelof written and spokenEnglish is essential, and Spanish languageskills would be a significant advantage, particularly when supporting customers and collaborating with teams across LATAM region.
  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation or Advanced QA certification.
  • Knowledge of performance, security, and accessibility testing best practices.
  • Experience with test management, defect tracking, and automation tools (e.g., Jira, Xunit, Test Evolve, or similar platforms) is a plus.
