Job description

he Quality Assurance Administrator is responsible for obtaining timely receipt of physician reports, and forwarding to the appropriate QA analyst; adherence to compliance processes and protocols; excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Delivers quality customer service from initial request for service until completion of end product (final report)
โ€ข Contacts providers to request physician reports in a timely manner
โ€ข Responsible for following workflow based on current queue statuses
โ€ข Receive physician reports and forward to appropriate QA Analyst
โ€ข Responds to client requests regarding report status
โ€ข Follows up with physicians when needed to obtain clarification or appropriate responses to all issues requested
โ€ข Performs billing, invoicing, and accounting functions
โ€ข Adheres to client protocols and jurisdictional regulations including, logging, processing and progress inquiries
โ€ข Submits end product (final report) to the client as dictated by their protocol
โ€ข Keeps client apprised regarding any delays or issues
โ€ข Contacts appropriate agencies or persons for verifying information
โ€ข Handles incoming and outgoing calls effectively and efficiently meeting client standards/protocols
โ€ข Communicates immediately with Quality Assurance Manger regarding any client concerns
โ€ข Meets specific department metrics
โ€ข Operates company software and equipment
โ€ข Enters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information into system via keyboard
โ€ข Demonstrates strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task without compromising extreme attention to detail
โ€ข Communicates using correct English, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
โ€ข Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions while adhering to prescribed departmental routines
โ€ข Maintains confidentiality and discretion as a general rule
โ€ข Works effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
โ€ข Interacts professionally with other employees as well as clients
โ€ข Has a clear and concise understanding, and adheres to, guidelines as they relate to HIPAA, Conflict of Interest, and Ethics
โ€ข Understands current URAC standards as appropriate to job functions
โ€ข Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
โ€ข HS Diploma or equivalent
โ€ข Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
โ€ข Previous medical records, billing, and/or insurance experience highly preferred, but not required
โ€ข Previous accounting, reporting, and invoicing experience a plus
โ€ข Excellent communication skills-verbal and written
โ€ข Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
โ€ข Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
