Job description

This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide specialized hospital pharmacy care in a pediatric setting. The position is based in Lubbock, TX, with options to work locally or as a travel assignment. This six-month role focuses on inpatient pharmacy services at a children’s hospital and requires experience with pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and verify medication orders specifically for pediatric inpatient care
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
  • Oversee pharmacy operations during assigned shifts with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Texas pharmacist license
