Responsibilities:      
The Automated Inventory Control Specialist are responsible for overall functionality of automated systems within Materials Management Supply Chain. Specialist work directly with the Distribution Manager to execute product updates within our automated systems (ERP SCM Module/Inventory Control Modules). This position will identify automated system needs for training and system maintenance (table and user updates within the Pyxis System Database and ERP System). This position will facilitate new product additions/deletions and transitions based on weekly communication updates from the Materials Management Team. 
    Strong Customer service skills are required in order to collaborate with Nursing and Materials Management leadership to identify areas for improvement in supply locations.   
    Must be able to ensure deliverables against project milestones, deadlines and GO-LIVE dates. 
    Automated inventory specialist functions include but are not limited to: Item usage reports within Pyxis and Oracle, Systems table maintenance including pricing and packaging updates, Materials Management log maintenance and open order reports. 
    Research and resolve Automated Inventory System (Pyxis/ RFSmart)hardware/software issues as part of operational support. 
    Oversee the flow of inventory into the storeroom by communicating with Purchasing in order to manage back orders and critically low inventory levels while maintaining on hand inventory and keeping overstock to a minimum. 
    Utilize ERP Systems-Oracle to maintain storeroom supply location and inventory levels, update and maintain all end user requisition templates for ordering (Main Campus). This position will report to the Distribution Manager providing compliance with established internal control policies and procedures while maintaining system performance. This position will be cross-trained as a Distribution Service Clerk in order to function within Supply Chain Distribution.  

Qualifications:     
    1-3 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, operations, or warehousing. 
    Familiarity with ERP software such as Oracle, Meditech, Lawson, RFSmart, or SAP. 
    Strong communication kills, and ability to problem solve. 
    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
