Roles & Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs with end-to-end traceability.
• Design, develop, and implement robust applications using modern development frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for performance optimization and implement improvements across applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to maintain high-quality standards.
• Support Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications
• • Experience with AI-assisted development tools and modern coding practices.
• Strong expertise in Java-based workflow stacks and backend development.
• Proficiency in Angular for front-end development.
• Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, automation, or backend services.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle / PL/SQL and database design concepts.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience in implementing test automation and adopting a shift-left testing mindset.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Git (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Experience working with Agile tools such as JIRA, Zephyr Scale, and Confluence.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $65,447 to $112,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
