Our team (DevSecOps) develops innovative software solutions that power data-driven businesses around the world. Working in a collaborative and supportive environment, the team is responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining high-quality software products that help customers manage, protect, and derive value from their data. Team members partner closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders while following software development best practices and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
The role
As a Python Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of internal software tooling. You will work closely with senior engineers and team members to analyze requirements, write high-quality code, and support the delivery of scalable and reliable solutions. In this role, you will apply software engineering fundamentals to solve technical challenges, participate in code reviews, and follow established development processes and standards. You will also assist with troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements while gaining hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to build technical expertise and grow within a global, innovation-driven organization.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $80K to $100K. The expected on-target earnings for this position is: $86k to $108k.
The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's bonus/variable/commission pay programs,
where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
