Job description

Overview:
Role: Devops Engineer
Location: Woonsocket, RI
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy and monitor Java Spring Boot applications.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices for scalability, security, and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues.
  • Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance monitoring using modern DevOps practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong expertise with Ansible and Terraform.
  • Solid programming knowledge of Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
