Job description

At Advisor360°, we build technology that transforms how wealth management firms operate, scale, and serve their clients. As a leading SaaS platform in the fintech space, we're trusted by some of the largest independent broker-dealers and RIAs to power the full advisor and client experience-from portfolio construction and reporting to compliance and client engagement.
What sets us apart? It's not just the tech (though it's best-in-class). It's the people, the purpose, and the passion behind everything we do.
We're a team of builders, thinkers, and doers who believe that great companies are defined by the stories they tell and the experiences they create-internally and externally. We bring deep industry expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to innovation as we reshape what's possible in wealth management.
As we grow, we're looking for teammates who are ready to roll up their sleeves, think big, and help elevate our brand in a way that reflects the bold ambitions we have for our company and the clients we serve.
Join us, and be part of a company that's not only moving fast-but making it count.
This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters.
We're seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve the systems that power software delivery across Advisor360°, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, Kubernetes infrastructure, and internal engineering tooling.
This is a hands-on platform engineering role with end-to-end ownership across architecture, implementation, and production operations. We operate in an AI-enabled engineering environment and are actively embedding AI capabilities into developer workflows and platform tooling.
If you're a software engineer with a background in platform automation and want to be part of a DevOps team that values ownership, creative problem-solving, and building scalable solutions, this is the role for you! You'll help shape the platforms that enable engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate software at scale.
Here's What You'll Do:
  • Build, maintain, and improve Jenkins (Groovy and Python)-based CI/CD and continuous deployment systems that support engineering teams across the organization
  • Design, build, and operate platform automation services using Python for deployment orchestration, release workflows, and environment provisioning
  • Develop and scale Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure and runtime services
  • Design and maintain backend platform APIs using .NET (C#) and Python that power deployment operations, release management, and environment automation
  • Integrate platform systems with external tools and enterprise workflows, including ticketing systems and change management (CAB) processes
  • Improve reliability, scalability, and operational standards across software delivery systems
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define and evolve how deployments, releases, and environments are managed
  • Lead improvements in observability using Dynatrace, ELK Stack, logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerting
  • Build and enhance an Angular-based internal engineering portal for self-service deployments and platform operations
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and help drive resolution of production issues in critical platform systems
  • Embed AI capabilities into developer workflows and platform tooling to improve automation and operational efficiency
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards, code quality, and platform best practices

What You Bring to the Table:
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or distributed systems
  • Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining Jenkins (Groovy)-based CI/CD and continuous deployment systems
  • Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management, deployment automation, and platform operations
  • Strong backend engineering experience in Python and/or .NET (C#)
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Experience with SQL Server and/or Cosmos DB
  • Experience integrating systems through APIs, including ticketing, change management (CAB), and other enterprise platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support experience
  • Experience building internal developer platforms (IDP) or self-service engineering portals
  • Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code platforms
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD platforms
  • Experience embedding AI capabilities into engineering workflows or developer tooling
  • Experience operating large-scale multi-tenant SaaS platform or experience in fintech, wealth management, or other regulated industries preferred
