A career within Cybersecurity and Privacy, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurityprogramand help run their cybersecurity operations that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth.

As anintern,you'llwork as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.Responsibilities include:

• Learn cybersecurity concepts such as detection,responseand attack patterns

• Work in an operational environment and learnfirst handfirst-handon how cybersecurity operations work in detecting and preventing cyber threats

• Assistwith security monitoring, detection,responseand client care

• Ensure cyber security incidents are investigatedidentified, assessed, reported, communicated to the client, and mitigated

• Ensure compliance to client agreements, adherence to process and process improvements to achieve operational objectives

• Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework

• Administration & maintenance of security devices

• Perform threat management, threat modeling,identifythreat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring

• Responsible for integration of standard and non-standard logs in SIEM

• Coordination with stakeholders, build andmaintainpositive working relationships with them

• Enrolled in third year of the following post-secondary programs:Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, applied mathematics, computer engineering

• Ability to code in one or several languages: Java, C,C++or Python

• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulatenew ideas

• Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data,factsand other information to deliver quality to our clients

• Share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust

• Ability to easily adapt and prioritize,demonstratingproject management skills to handle changing priorities
