Job Summary:
Supermicro Computer Inc is currently seeking Test Engineers to join the Rack Solutions team, who can do complete server configuration check, performance test, packing check, and familiar with Linus OS for server, switch, add on card test ...etc. Familiar with Linux shell script programing, and server hardware datasheet (GPU, AOC, NIC, CPU, DIMM, HDD...), and make judgment on testing result.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Monitor, review L10/L11 test results to control server quality/reliability from Production and Ware House
• Manage our quality control procedures and follow up issues from L10/L11 testiing to improve company's product quality
• Support and coordinate with LAB and other engineering teams to improve our server qualities
• Take ownership provide feedback and take initiative to drive to improve server qualities
• Work with cross-functional teams and take initiative to set quality standards for new products
• In-depth knowledge on maintaining the quality of the product testing skills
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; or Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills at Linux server system testing and debugging
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Dedication, Job responsibility are must for this job
• Skill on Shell Scripts/Python/ Selenium/Redfish/Network (Ethernet/Infiniband) is a Plus
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and able to generate test report
• Strong attention to details, including accuracy and thoroughness
• Solid communications skills both verbal and written
• Able to work independently and be a good team player
• Experience with rack-level deployment is a plus
Salary Range
$90,000 - $110,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
