Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based analytics solutions. Experience with Databricks is highly preferred to support advanced data engineering and big data workloads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Snowflake.
  • Architect end-to-end data warehousing and analytics platforms.
  • Lead Snowflake migrations from legacy databases and data warehouses.
  • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake-native capabilities and modern data integration tools.
  • Design dimensional and normalized data models to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence requirements.
  • Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and architects to define data strategies and roadmaps.
  • Implement data governance, security, access controls, and performance optimization best practices.
  • Work with Databricks for large-scale data processing, data engineering, and advanced analytics workloads.
  • Mentor development teams and provide architectural guidance on Snowflake and Databricks implementations.

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, or Data Architecture.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake Architecture and Administration experience.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake features including:

    • Streams & Tasks
    • Time Travel
    • Zero Copy Cloning
    • Secure Data Sharing
    • Performance Tuning & Query Optimization
  • Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
  • Experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Knowledge of data integration tools such as Informatica, Matillion, DBT, Airflow, Talend, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Modern Data Platform architectures.
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Experience with Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience implementing Lakehouse Architecture.
  • Exposure to real-time and streaming data solutions.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
