The Role:

As a Software Engineer III at Seegrid, you will work in a tightly knit development team to create the next generation of warehouse automation robot applications and control systems. You'll work with product management, customer facing teams and other engineers to conceive, design, and implement new products and features that support the exciting possibilities when robots, human, and the unconstrained real world interact.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to design and implement features using C++
  • Perform code reviews and provide meaningful feedback to your peers
  • Demonstrate problem-solving & technical innovation
  • Help troubleshoot issues that occur at customer sites
  • Work closely with product and service teams to continuously improve great products

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience with designing and implementing features using C++
  • Strong knowledge of C++
  • Ability to write testable and maintainable code
  • Experience working with Linux
  • Experience with ROS 2
  • Ability to make pragmatic trade-offs under delivery pressure
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product and other engineering teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions clearly
