Job Overview:

Pay Range: $45hr - $50hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • FEA and python scripting experience.
  • B.S. in Mechanical engineering or similar degree & minimum 2+ years industry experience preferred.
  • Software development experience and database experience preferred.
  • Experience using AI agents, like Claude, in support of code development and code review preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define requirements.
  • Implement and integrate workflow components.
  • Verify results through testing and validation.
  • Deliver clear documentation and guidance that improves product decisions and accelerates development cycles.
  • Partner with product development groups to understand needs and translate them into clear requirements.
  • Implement workflow components (e.g., scripting/automation, pre/post-processing, data handling, and tool integrations).
  • Validate workflows through testing and correlation checks.
  • Deliver user-facing documentation, training, and support to drive adoption.
  • Review simulation outputs for reasonableness, troubleshoot issues, and incorporate learnings into continuous improvements to the Vulcan platform.
  • Present workflow capability and progress at release review meetings.
