Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Enterprise Cybersecurity team supporting Data Protection and Analytics initiatives. This role will focus on designing, building, deploying, administering, and supporting database activity monitoring solutions across critical enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud technologies, DevOps automation, cybersecurity monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and production support while contributing to the development of scalable and secure enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, deploy, administer, and support database activity monitoring solutions and related cybersecurity platforms.
• Gather business requirements from product teams and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and develop new products and internal solutions from concept through production deployment.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes.
• Develop automation and orchestration solutions using scripting and DevOps tools.
• Support cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid application deployment models.
• Monitor and maintain platform performance, availability, reliability, and security.
• Provide ongoing production support, including incident, change, release, and problem management activities.
• Participate in global on-call rotations to ensure platform stability and operational continuity.
• Support technology lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, patching, and modernization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, processes, security requirements, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives through database activity monitoring, logging, and analytics solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support materials.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical and system requirements.
• Experience designing and building products or enterprise solutions from the ground up.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, XML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, Python, or related technologies.
• Experience in cloud-based DevOps engineering, cloud architecture, and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and orchestration using GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Strong scripting experience using Python, Shell scripting, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with cybersecurity technologies focused on database activity logging and monitoring.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems from an engineering and support perspective.
• Strong understanding of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment architectures.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience resolving complex technical issues in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
