Part-Time Adjunct Faculty:
Statistics for the Life Sciences: This course introduces the basic statistical concepts to visualize, summarize, and interpret statistical data, and draw conclusions as they pertain to Translational Life Science Technology.
Translational Bioinformatics: This course is an introduction to bioinformatics, and includes genome analysis, BLAST searching, phylogenetic tree development, proteomic and transcriptomic data set analysis, and an introduction to systems biology.
Introduction to Python Programming with Translational Applications: The class will teach Python3 programming language, and students will learn fundamental coding concepts and practices applicable to other major programming languages such as C++ and Java.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS: To apply, applicants must have a graduate degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, public health, or a related professional field (Ph.D. or other terminal degree preferred). Experience in the biotechnology industry, government, or academia conducting research related to translational science is strongly preferred. Previous university teaching experience is helpful though not required.
