Job description

Unison Systems is seeking a Data Analyst w/ AI to join our client's team in Denver, CO.
This is a contract role through year-end, based onsite five days per week. The position reports to a Senior Analyst or Manager within a Fortune 500 company's data team. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment supporting business teams with reporting, analysis, and AI-assisted analytics workflows.
Responsibilities:
  • Build basic reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to support business teams including Sales, Retention, and Operations
  • Extract data using SQL and prepare datasets using Python for analysis and visualization
  • Partner with senior analysts to clarify requirements and deliver actionable insights
  • Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude to support query writing, documentation, and findings summaries
  • Assist in converting manual and repetitive processes into automated workflows
  • Create clear charts and dashboards that communicate key insights to stakeholders
  • Develop technical and business skills through hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced team members

Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of experience in a data analyst or analytics role (internships, bootcamps, and academic projects welcome)
  • Foundational SQL skills including joins, filtering, and aggregations
  • Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and basic scripting
  • Exposure to AI tools and demonstrated interest in applying them to improve productivity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present findings
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field-or equivalent hands-on experience
