  • Capture and structure tribal knowledge to streamline onboarding and inform AI tools.
  • Automate tasks across analytics requirements gathering, data validation, job monitoring, and Tableau reporting.
  • Create agents that detect pipeline failures, analyze logs, surface root causes, and recommend fixes.
  • Develop reusable prompt templates, steering files, and workspace configurations to standardize AI behavior.
  • Develop and maintain MCP servers to connect AI tools with data, schemas, and business logic.
  • Integrate AI tooling with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Athena, and Tableau to reduce context switching.
  • Build data quality monitoring agents for anomaly detection and lineage impact assessment.
  • Automate data cleanup and resource optimization workflows.
  • Implement guardrails in AI-assisted query tools to prevent expensive or unbounded operations.
  • Build internal tools and applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
  • Develop APIs and backend services that power agent workflows and connect to internal platforms.
  • Write clean, tested, and documented code while setting engineering standards.
  • Work within AWS services such as Athena, EMR, S3, and Lambda and integrate with the existing data stack.
Experience Requirements:
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with production applications using TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or similar.
  • Active AWS certification with demonstrated knowledge of AWS services.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, agent frameworks, tool-use patterns, or RAG systems.
  • Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent-tool integration patterns.
  • Experience with SQL and data platforms such as Athena or Spark.
  • Strong debugging skills across distributed systems, data pipelines, and AI agent workflows.
  • Ability to design thorough test cases and support reliability testing for tools and agents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage development work independently.
  • Ability to translate non-technical needs into working software.
  • Experience building knowledge graphs, context graphs, or semantic layers for enterprise data (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Tableau, data visualization tools, or BI platform APIs (preferred).
  • Background in data engineering or analytics, including ETL pipelines, data quality, and validation workflows (preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD, GitLab, and infrastructure-as-code (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Jira APIs, Confluence, or project management tool integrations (preferred).
  • Experience with job monitoring, log analysis, or operational alerting systems (preferred).
