Job Description

The Summer Intern (Hourly), under general supervision, will perform research in data analysis and assist the CREDIT Center operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist faculty and staff on research projects

  • Assist with general office activities

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a four-year university program, pursuing a major in Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science (institution not limited to PVAMU).

  • Must be in academic good standing with minimum 2.0 GPA

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Students in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science degree paths preferred

  • Background in R and Python programming, and data analysis research preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in R and Python programming

  • Experience in data analysis research
