We are looking for a DevOps/SRE (Senior) to work with one of our clients.



CONTEXT AND ROLE OBJECTIVES:


The role is focused on supporting, maintaining, and evolving the software factoryโ€™s services and tools within an international environment.


The consultant will contribute to platform stability, CI/CD adoption, automation initiatives, monitoring practices, cloud platform evolution, and knowledge sharing across teams.


The position also requires close collaboration with users, stakeholders, application teams, and international teams within a Follow-The-Sun support model.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Support and adoption


- Ensure the stability and availability of the software factoryโ€™s services and tools

- Adhere to platform SLA within a Follow-The-Sun (FTS) support model

- Operate services in compliance with security regulations

- Communicate effectively regarding incidents and planned releases

- Assist application teams in adopting CI/CD best practices

- Support teams in using provided CI/CD tools


Development and evolution of the offering


- Develop prototypes and run Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new tools

- Install, upgrade, and maintain tools and environments

- Reduce support workload through automation and chatbot solutions

- Contribute to Microsoft Azure Public Cloud platform evolution

- Define and implement monitoring KPIs (SLOs/SLAs/SLIs) and track performance


Knowledge sharing


- Contribute to documentation and promote proper tool usage

- Write and improve internal support processes

- Advocate for CI/CD platform best practices

- Participate in โ€œTest and Deploymentโ€ community activities

- Act as regional AMER CI/CD tools expert and provide guidance



PROFILE:


Mandatory requirements


- Proficiency in Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, and monitoring tools

- Minimum 5 years of experience in software factory tools, in development or administration

- Strong autonomy and ability to lead meetings with users and stakeholders

- Ability to prioritize tasks, track progress, and communicate delays

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across complex environments

- Ability to propose pragmatic, high-quality solutions

- Results-driven mindset with perseverance

- Strong verbal and written communication, including presentation skills

- Client-centric approach with ability to support user needs

- Strong collaboration skills in an international team environment


Nice to have


- Experience with Azure cloud

- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven, MSBuild, npm

- Knowledge of TeamCity, Jira, GitHub Enterprise

- Experience with XLDeploy, Nexus, JFrog Platform, Artifactory, Sonar

- Knowledge of PowerShell, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions

- Bilingual French / English is a plus.

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
