Description

Python Full Stack Developer for Credit Risk Technology

The qualified candidate will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions using Python. This role works across back-end systems, APIs, and data-driven applications to support a variety of technical and business needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and scripts using Python.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Integrate databases, third-party services, and APIs into applications.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability.

Participate in code reviews and support continuous integration and deployment processes.

Skills:

- Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks strictly following OOPS concepts.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, database integration, and version control systems.

- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies, cloud platforms, or DevOps tools is a plus.

- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently or in agile teams

Qualifications

- 8+ years of prior experience as a developer in the required technologies

Requirements

- Develop highly scalable applications in Core Python.

- Hands-on with Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Experience working on SQL with ability to run various data analytics tasks and queries.

- Exposure to Java script technologies (preferably React)

- Exposure to Azure Databricks environment is desirable (PySpark, notebooks, integrate repos, job workflows, delta lake, unity catalog etc)

- Exposure to azure environment and various interconnected azure components (Functions, App Service, Containers etc.).

- Knowledge on Financial domain and mainly Risk management is highly desirable

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
