Job Summary:
Mortenson is currently seeking a Data Analysis Manager who will be responsible for interpreting patterns and trends in available information sources and concisely reporting findings to assist leadership in operational decision making, policy formulation, and other functions. The role involves building relationships with stakeholders, analyzing data, and providing leadership to the analyst team.
Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively to realize solutions that maximize business performance
• Interpret and analyze information from the analyst team and report findings to leadership to aide in decision making and policy formulation
• Partner with HR partners and leadership to model the outcome of potential business strategies and implement actions based on information collected and current trends to maximize business performance
• Consume and consolidate large amounts of data into centralized, sustainable, and repeatable measurements
• Apply and integrate statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis to manage and manipulate complex high-volume data from a variety of sources
• Develop, analyze, and model operational, economic, management, and other organizational data
• Quantify the competitive performance of business segments
• Evaluate potential operational changes
• Design new approaches and methodologies
• Provide leadership and support to the analyst team
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biological Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum eight years of related experience with at least three years in analytics
• Experience with standard programming language such as SAS, C, C++, Python, or Java
• Excellent ability to concisely present and explain large amounts of information
• Ability to think analytically with great attention to detail
• Shown ability to follow complex instructions
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
