The pay range is $88,000.00 - $158,000.00

In Finance Capabilities, you will partner with leaders across Finance, Technology, Data Science, and Analytics to design and deliver solutions that drive business value and advance enterprise priorities. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding cross-functional partners to ensure the success, accuracy, and integrity of end-to-end solutions.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our Circle Card Reporting & Analytics team. In this role, you will leverage querying, statistical analysis, visualization, and automation to support Target's financial product portfolio and deliver actionable insights to Circle Card support teams. You will contribute to a comprehensive reporting suite spanning financial analysis, performance insights, service level monitoring, and compliance controls.
About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ year as a Data Analyst with strong academic performance in a quantitative field; or strong equivalent experience supporting financial product operations

  • Advanced SQL experience writing complex queries

  • Intermediately accomplished with Python or R

  • Experience in analytics tools such as: SQL, Excel, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, R, Domo, PowerBI, Google Analytics and/or equivalent technologies

  • Develop data visualizations that clearly communicate complex insights

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security across reporting and analysis

  • Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combining data curiosity with the ability to build, manipulate, and troubleshoot large, complex datasets.

  • Communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences, translating concepts clearly between groups.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
