Position Summary
As a Operations Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for development and implementation of custom technology solutions for Michels. The Operations Technology Specialist will assist with projects to improve systems and data processes utilized by Michels and Michels customers. Critical for success are strong communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.

What It Takes
  • Associate degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 1-3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination
  • Experience with ArcGIS or other GIS mapping systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Operating Systems, and ESRI Product Suite
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team.

Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science or a related field.
  • Familiar with ERP systems or other business transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and Python
