Job Title: Software Engineer (Mid)

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 06+ Months Contract

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop, and enhance features on Cloud Security team-owned home-grown services to support Client.
  • Develop automation with AWS resources and components such as Lambdas, S3, IAM, AWS Organizations, etc.
  • Improve and expand existing Python IAM framework and multi-application integration
  • Enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with CloudFormation and/or Terraform.
  • Monitoring cloud infrastructure security health through various tools, such as Prisma, GuardDuty, Qualys, Cloudtrails, Wiz, etc.
  • Investing and troubleshooting security-related incidents
  • Response and work on Customer requests through multiple channels, such as slack, service desk requests.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Primary skills in Software development and Software life cycle utilizing AWS services with any security background as a huge plus
  • Prior Experience building python applications or frameworks
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and management
  • Capability to read, improve, understand large Python code base
  • Good experience and understanding of AWS security services
  • Enterprise-level experience

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate to high level of Python coding experience
  • Experience with AWS IAM
  • Experience with AWS Serverless services including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, etc is a plus
  • Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus
