Job description

The Automation Specialist's scope of work will include design, development, and deployment of application solutions ranging from custom developed internal tools to fully deployed client on-premises and cloud solutions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • 1-3+ years' experience in the implementation and programming of SCADA application.
  • Experience with ICONICS Genesis 64 is a plus.
  • Various other SCADA platform experience such as Wonderware System Platform / Ignition / ClearSCADA is a plus.
  • Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting software.
  • Implement tools and techniques to increase programming efficiency and quality.
  • Willingness to follow through with an issue until resolved.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals in SCADA - ICONICS Genesis 64 Software suite: BridgeWorX, ReportWorX, AnalytiX.
  • Front end skills with proficiency in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX.
  • Back-end skills with proficiency in Node.js, Python, or .NET.
  • Experience building modern application stacks is a plus.
  • Developing software in a variety of modern languages (e.g. JavaScript/React, Python, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, .NET).
  • Experience with common Amazon Web Services (AWS) functionality (Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB, Timestream, S3, SNS, API Gateway) and/or Azure cloud services functionality is a plus.
  • Experience with responsive web design and programming, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Experience with one or more of the following or similar technologies: NodeJS, Python, AngularJS, .NET framework is a plus.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • Experience with database schema design, ingesting data and database access layers.
