Familiarity with development frameworks (like Django or Flask), version control systems such as Git, and relevant Python certifications are commonly expected. Problem-solving ability, adaptability, and effective communication are valuable soft skills that set top candidates apart. These competencies enable developers to write efficient, maintainable code and collaborate well within development teams on complex projects.

Job description

For more than thirty years, Inspire Communities and its predecessor companies have developed, acquired, and managed manufactured housing communities nationwide. Today we are one of the country’s largest owners and operators of manufactured housing communities and recreational vehicle resorts. We create vibrant, affordable communities for working families and retirees and attractive vacation destinations for seasonal travelers. With financial sponsorship from one of the world’s largest alternative investment managers, we bring institutional discipline to our entrepreneurial roots and are positioned for continued significant growth.

Why Choose Inspire Communities?

At Inspire Communities, we empower our employees to grow, succeed, and make a difference—both in our communities and in their careers. If you’re looking for a rewarding role where your work is valued, apply today!

Job Summary:

Reporting to the VP of IT, the Lead Business Systems Administrator is responsible for the health, architecture, and alignment of our enterprise business applications. In this role, you will act as the functional owner and administrator for our core operational ecosystem—which includes NetSuite ERP, HubSpot CRM, and our property management systems to highlight a few applications. You will focus on developing solutions, creating new workflows, integrating tools, developing reports, maintaining environments, and ensuring our platforms operate efficiently to help Inspire scale. This role requires the ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships within a collaborative organization.

What You'll Do
  • Solution Architecture & Configuration: Research, design, propose, and implement configuration-based solutions across the application stack. This includes managing system tailoring, custom forms, field/record creation, workflow automation, and reporting/dashboard solutions.
  • Systems Administration: Serve as an additional functional administrator to our core enterprise application software, as well as their various integrations to systems.
  • System Governance & Lifecycle Management: Lead and support ongoing administration, configuration, and user support of key systems following established IT practices. Manage system upgrades (New Releases), maintain Sandbox/testing environments, and troubleshoot user issues.
  • Business Partnership: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders for process analysis and requirements gathering, providing consultative guidance to deliver effective, efficient operational solutions.
  • Technical Rigor & Documentation: Complete assignments within the context of standard software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management guidelines, including technical designs, estimation, testing, deployment, and administrative documentation.
  • Continuous Innovation: Stay current regarding new releases and features of our enterprise applications to formally identify and propose opportunities to further leverage our investments.
What We're Looking For
  • Learning Agility: Quickly learn, configure, and train on new systems; become a subject matter expert.
  • Execution Excellence: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Problem Solving: Advanced analytical skills to define and resolve complex operational challenges.
  • Leadership & Communication: High emotional intelligence; able to influence, collaborate, and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Drive & Adaptability: Self-directed, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: 6+ years in business systems, ERP, or enterprise applications administration.
  • ERP Administration: Hands-on NetSuite experience (SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, SuiteCloud integrations).
  • CRM Administration: Experience managing data pipelines, custom objects, and integrations (HubSpot preferred).
  • Data & Automation: SQL proficiency, reporting/dashboard experience, and scripting for automation (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
  • Certifications: Relevant platform certifications preferred(e.g., NetSuite Certified Administrator, HubSpot Certified Admin).
What We Offer

At Inspire Communities, we value our employees just as much as we value our residents. We offer the following benefits to our full-time (30+ hours per week) employees:

  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance with multiple plans so you can choose the coverage that best suits the needs of you and your family
  • Financial Wellness & Savings: Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts, (FSA) and other options to help manage expenses with eligible plans
  • Retirement savings program with a company match
  • Competitive time off, including ten holidays, vacation, sick time, and more
  • Work-Life Balance Support: Employee Assistance Program (EAP), LifeBalance discounts, and other wellness resources
  • Professional development resources and opportunities, including tuition reimbursement for qualifying programs
