About the Role 

We’re looking for an exceptional Sr. Fullstack Engineer to join our team. We care deeply about making a difference in people’s lives and hope you do too! The In-Care Experience team at Lyra is obsessed with the "What’s Next." Once a member matches with a provider, we take the lead. We build the infrastructure that powers client onboarding, multi-channel notifications, and bespoke care programs. Our goal? To provide a world-class interface for both providers and members that makes navigating mental health care feel intuitive, supported, and human.
 
Candidates must be physically located within the United States.
Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the full-stack development process, from designing backend APIs to implementing front-end components
• Be a driving force towards the agentic transition
• Create lasting impact by building and continuously improving our Python and Java-based microservices
• Work with fellow engineering team members to collaboratively create and refine technical designs and solutions
• Collaborate with key partners including data science, product management, design, and behavioral health specialists
• Follow and promote best practices during all phases of software development, adhering to the highest quality and security standards
• Drive continuous technical improvement for our platforms and tooling

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 4+ years of experience developing enterprise or consumer web applications
• Professional experience with AI tools and agent-based software development
• Relevant professional experience building scalable back-end services and APIs using Python and/or Java/Spring
• Relevant professional experience developing web applications with React.js, React Native and TypeScript
• Highly proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently

As a full-time Sr. Software Engineer - Full Stack, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000 to $195,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
