Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Software Development Engineer to design and develop digital software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available. Multiple Positions.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Also requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Docker or Kubernetes; Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); Python Development; REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs; Writing application code and deploying to production; Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions; Feature engineering, model training, hyperparameter tuning, distributed model training, and supervised and unsupervised learning implementation; Quantitative analysis techniques, including clustering, regression, and pattern recognition; Product management in a large, matrixed organization with many internal partners; Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases; Developing data and analytics-based platform capabilities, services, or products; and C and C++ Development.
Pay Range: $147680.00/year to $203940.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
