Role Name: AWS Cloud Engineer - Onsite
Location: Las Vegas, NV (100% Onsite - Local Candidates Only)

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure leveraging core services: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Backups, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and related security/compliance tooling
  • Advanced networking implementation and troubleshooting with AWS Transit Gateway (TGW) and Direct Connect, including hybrid connectivity setups
  • Configure observability and monitoring using Amazon CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry (OTEL), and proactive alerting
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automate deployments with GitLab CI/CD and Shell scripting
  • Manage container orchestration and service mesh with Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio for traffic management, security, and observability
  • Perform patching and vulnerability remediation in cloud-native and containerized environments, following security best practices and compliance standards
  • Develop Python or Bash scripts for automation, tooling, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate in fast-paced Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions
