Job description

Job Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and Python while leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS. The role focuses on building optimized data models, managing data ingestion workflows, and ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability for enterprise data platforms.
Location:
Stamford, CT (Need to be local or willing to relocate)
Experience:
6-8 Years
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and cloud services (preferably AWS).
  • Build and optimize data models including staging, data warehouse, and data marts using best practices such as micro-partitioning and clustering.
  • Develop and manage data ingestion workflows from structured and semi-structured sources (JSON, Parquet, XML, APIs, etc.).
  • Implement business requirements using Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, and Snowpipe for automated data loads.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.
  • Document data flows, transformations, and technical processes for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage job scheduling and orchestration using industry standard tools.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based databases, preferably Snowflake.
  • Strong SQL / PL-SQL skills.
  • Experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development.
  • Experience working with data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
  • Basic understanding of AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with orchestration or scheduling tools, preferably Tidal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
