  • Execute the operational automation roadmap defined with the Principal Engineer and leadership stakeholders
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation for cyber security operations
  • Build and operationalize SRE capabilities to improve reliability, resiliency, and observability of security services
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for secure, repeatable deployments across environments
  • Partner with technology owners and SMEs to review and optimize operational procedures for automation readiness
  • Integrate security technologies, APIs, and infrastructure components into scalable operational workflows
  • Support implementation of AI/ML-enabled capabilities for analytics, anomaly detection, and process optimization
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and KPI instrumentation to measure operational effectiveness
  • Contribute to control testing, audit readiness, and evidence collection to demonstrate control effectiveness
  • Ensure all solutions align with risk, compliance, and internal security engineering standards
  • Mentor engineers through hands-on technical guidance, code reviews, and implementation best practices
  • Participate actively in design reviews, technical decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience building scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant services and processes
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and their application in operational/security use cases
  • Strong understanding of secure coding, architecture patterns, and production support best practices
  • Experience with REST APIs and security protocols such as OAuth and TLS
