We are seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Automation Developer to design, develop, and maintain security automation solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our Security Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills and hands-on experience with SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) platforms.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain security automation workflows and playbooks.
  • Integrate security tools, platforms, and APIs to streamline incident response processes.
  • Develop and support Python-based automation scripts and applications.
  • Build and optimize SOAR use cases for threat detection, investigation, and remediation.
  • Collaborate with SOC analysts, threat hunters, and engineers to identify automation opportunities.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing automation solutions.
  • Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across cybersecurity operations

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or automation development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more SOAR platforms
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
  • Knowledge of security operations, incident response, and threat management processes.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with SOAR and SIEM platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud security technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM/Bicep).
  • Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and cybersecurity frameworks.
