We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong Python skills to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help drive data-driven decision-making across the organization

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is $115K - $120K/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources using Python libraries such as pandas and NumPy.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Support the automation of data workflows and pipelines.
  • Assist in designing and implementing data collection systems and data quality checks.
  • Prepare and present analysis results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, and Seaborn.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and libraries.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and perform statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with data cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
