ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Product Engineering Intern with EaglePicher Technologies, you will join the Product Engineering Team as a key contributor in the development and/or modification of Product Data Sheets.  Other engineering duties will involve those relating to the design, documentation, and manufacture of specialty batteries used in the defense and aerospace industries.  

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of this position are:

  • Gather pertinent information to verify the accuracy of existing product data sheets and/or to produce new product data sheets.  This will include organizing the information in an Excel format for later use by our marketing group.  Will require verbal discussions with various engineers regarding the many different type of battery products.
  • Assist the engineering team with day to day activities involving product action items and documentation updates.
  • Work with engineering and drafting teams to create or revise product drawings and build documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Degree or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or other related Engineering fields.
  • U.S. Persons
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft products including Word and Excel.  Project and PowerPoint would be beneficial.
  • Preferred experience with SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling software.
