Background
Albelissa is seeking a US Supply Chain Project Engineer specializing in Pyrotechnic Systems for a project assignment with one of our American defense suppliers. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for remote flexibility. Over time, there will be more Defense and Aerospace suppliers to manage across North America, with biweekly or monthly in-person meetings and inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage pyrotechnic systems and related qualification activities.
  • Ensure effective collaboration on system-level engineering tasks.
  • Oversee product qualification processes and supply chain coordination.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and timelines.
Qualifications:
  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
  • Clearance: Department of War (DoW) clearance is required.
  • Relevant experience in supply chain management and project engineering, particularly in defense or pyrotechnic systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the technical and managerial interface between the client and suppliers, ensuring effective coordination of supply chain and project activities.

• Contribute to co-design practices for the development and qualification of aerospace components.
• Manage the information flow across stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting and progress tracking.
• Review and validate technical and functional requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual and system specifications.
• Oversee testing, qualification, and production activities to verify adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and manage non-conformances, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR / Export Control regulations and documentation procedures.
• Represent Albelissa's technical and managerial interests on-site at the client and supplier facilities.
Requirements
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent STEM discipline.
• Proven experience in supplier management, scheduling, progress tracking, and risk management in procurement and development phases.
• Strong understanding of system requirements management and system architecture analysis.
• Experience with testing, verification, and qualification activities (a plus).
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance processes and standards.
• Familiarity with ITAR and Export Control regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Fluent in English (C1 level or above).

Role Characteristics

• Occasional travel may be required to other client sites.
• High degree of autonomy and results orientation, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams.
Location
