The 200-bed acute care hospital offers advanced services, including the da Vinci Xi surgical platform, Level I Trauma Center, Loop-X system, orthopedics, obstetrics and cardiovascular care.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Director of Pharmacy in the overall direction and operational management of the Pharmacy Department

Supervise daily pharmacy operationsin accordance withestablished policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Lead, coach, and support pharmacy staff under the purview of the Director of Pharmacy

Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and operational teams to supporthigh-qualitypharmaceutical care

Identify, develop, and implement operational, workflow, and process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and service excellence

Assume responsibility for pharmacy operations in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, making decisions aligned with organizational policies and operational goals

Performs duties as of a staff pharmacist as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

Experience:

o Minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience

o Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy management experience

Licensure: Active Arizona Pharmacist License

Preferred Qualifications

Education:Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Management

Experience: Pharmacy residency or fellowship training

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and/or BCPS

The Manager, PharmacyOperationssupports the Director of Pharmacy in leading the operational effectiveness of the Pharmacy Department. The Manager serves as a trusted operational leader and assumes responsibility for daily pharmacy operations in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy.
