You will gain invaluable business exposure, applying your education to real-world scenarios. This is a paid position, where you’ll get to work with staff and leaders from all levels as you have impact right away. Interns are considered for future employment opportunities upon successful completion of the internship. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
  • Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
  • Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
  • Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results. 
  • Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.

What you’ll need for this position:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
  • GPA: 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
  • Hours: Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time).
  • Location: Fully in the office.
  • Employment Eligibility: This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Bonus:

  • Seeking to meet CPA exam sit-eligibility requirements.

The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25 to $27 per hour.
