We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Hospice position providing end-of-life care to patients in their homes in the Traverse City, MI area. This position is will assist with covering weekday, weekend, and after hours rotation and is eligible for progression into a full-time role.
What You'll Do:
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom and pain management, and individualized end-of-life care planning
  • Educate and support patients and families through the end-of-life journey, ensuring they feel informed, prepared, and deeply cared for
  • Think critically, solve problems in real time, and ensure thorough, compliant EMR documentation
  • Work independently, but never alone
  • Travel to patient homes within assigned territory

RN Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse, RN license in the state you work
  • Two years of RN experience and the clinical expertise to deliver quality patient care, Hospice experience preferred
  • Due to the field-based nature of this home health position, a valid driver's license and the ability to spend approximately 20% of your workday driving to and from patient locations are required
