Job description

Purchasing Specialist
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Purchasing Specialist for a company based in Largo, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide timely order processing and coordinate across many internal departments throughout a large printing/promotional company.

Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 30 am to 5 00 pm.

Purchasing Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations of the purchasing department through ordering and tracking.
  • Keep records of orders, pricing, ETA updates, tracking information, etc.
  • Create and process purchase orders.
  • Communicate with vendors for order status, lead times, and quality concerns.
  • Work closely with many internal departments to provide pricing and lead time information and other help depending on work loads.
  • Assist with report building and review related to purchasing activities.
  • Identify and resolve order, vendor or process issues.
Purchasing Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
  • Prior purchasing, order management, customer service, administrative, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to work with vendors and across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
  • AS400 us preferred but not required.
