Job description

Part-Time On-Call Tow Truck Driver (Luxury/ Performance Vehicle Transport)
Join Our Team
We're looking for a dependable, experienced Part-Time Tow Truck Driver to transport luxury, exotic, and high-end vehicles purchased at dealer auctions. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, traveling, and working independently while handling some of the finest vehicles on the road.
We provide the equipment. Drivers will operate a newer-model International rollback/flatbed tow truck owned and maintained by our dealership.
Position Summary
This is an on-call, part-time position. Drivers will be dispatched as vehicles are purchased and will travel throughout the East Coast to retrieve vehicles and safely transport them back to our dealership. Most trips are completed independently using our company-owned International rollback.
Responsibilities
  • Safely transport luxury, exotic, and premium vehicles using our newer International rollback/flatbed tow truck.
  • Travel throughout the East Coast to pick up vehicles from dealer auctions, dealerships, and other locations.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles with the highest level of care.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Communicate with dealership staff regarding pickup status and estimated arrival times.
  • Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with auction personnel and other businesses.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license (CDL may not be required depending on vehicle classification).
  • Clean driving record.
  • Experience operating rollback/flatbed tow trucks preferred.
  • Ability to safely load and transport luxury and high-value vehicles.
  • Comfortable traveling long distances, including occasional overnight trips.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to meet DOT medical certification requirements, if applicable.

  • Hourly pay for all drive time from departure until return to the dealership.
