Job description

Job Tasks

Requesting MRO supplies, long-lead stockroom inventory, outside services and capital expenditures as required

Review and place orders for raw material and stockroom inventory utilizing MRP and Min Exception reports for quantity and delivery requirements

Expedites orders and requests as needed

Estimates values according to knowledge of market price

Determines method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid

Prepares purchase orders or bid requests

Maintains procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories

May approve invoices for payment

May expedite delivery of goods to users

Perform Purchasing and Inventory Control related functions

Work order kitting

Material transactions

Physical inventory

Shipping and receiving as required

Maintain the inventory integrity, organization and cleanliness of stockroom

Job Requirements

Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with various departments within the organization

Must be proficient in MS Excel and accounting software. MAS500 experience a plus

Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50lbs

Uses forklift to move materials

Overhead Gantry and loader experience preferred

Must be capable of handling stock with care

Frequently required to balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch and occasionally climbs ladder
