Summary

The Manager, Procurement Operations is responsible for translating approved demand and supply plans into efficient procurement execution across the business. This role leads the operational procurement organization including Supply Planners, Procurement Specialists, Buyers, and Procurement Coordinators while ensuring inventory availability, service performance, and execution of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

The position serves as the primary bridge between Demand Planning, Strategic Procurement, Distribution, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure customer demand is fulfilled through disciplined procurement planning and execution.

This leader drives operational excellence through SAP IBP, inventory optimization, purchase order execution, supplier delivery performance, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning Leadership

Lead a team of Supply Planners responsible for converting approved demand plans into executable supply plans.

Ensure supply plans appropriately consider:

  • Forecast demand
  • Inventory positions
  • Open purchase orders
  • Internal transfers
  • Supplier lead times
  • Safety stock targets
  • Business strategy

Facilitate supply planning reviews and drive resolution of supply-demand imbalances.
