Position: Purchasing Specialist Location: Alpharetta, GA Employment Type: Full-Time
About Us
We are a rapidly growing HVAC operations and service company supporting multi site projects, vendor management, and cross border procurement. We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Purchasing Specialist with strong experience in procurement, vendor coordination, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
•    Manage purchasing activities for materials, equipment, and supplies required for daily operations and project needs
•    Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery
•    Create and process purchase orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate purchasing records
•    Coordinate with internal teams (operations, warehouse, accounting, and field staff) to forecast needs and prevent shortages
•    Monitor inventory levels and support restocking strategies
•    Review invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment with purchase orders
•    Maintain vendor relationships and support onboarding of new suppliers
•    Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and documentation requirements
•    Support cost saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes
Qualifications
•    2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience (manufacturing, construction, HVAC, or similar industry preferred)
•    Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
•    Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, and basic accounting coordination
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
•    Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and purchasing/ERP systems
