Job description

FNA Group has a Supply Chain Planner position available in our corporate office in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The Supply Chain Planner will embrace a continuous improvement mindset to help implement process improvement and reduce cost.
NOTE: This position is 100% onsite in Pleasant Prairie, WI and visa sponsorship is not available.
A typical day for a Supply Chain Planner may include any of the following, and no two days are the same.
  • Procure goods and services, including raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, etc.
  • Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information.
  • Evaluate vendors to determine their capability for performing to established specifications.
  • Generate Request for Quotations (RFQs) with suppliers and prospective suppliers.
  • Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
  • Maintain item costs, lead times and purchases from vendors in our ERP system (Sage / MAS 500).
  • Advise suppliers of non-conformances.
  • Compile data from a wide variety of sources to analyze issues and ensure compliance.
  • Issue purchase orders with correct purchasing cost and required dates.

To be successful as an FNA Supply Chain Planner, you will need to bring a few items with you. These items include:
  • High sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills (intermediate/advanced).
  • Basic understanding of ERP / MRP systems.
  • Experience sourcing products and working with vendors to drive cost savings.
  • Able to work collaboratively with different departments.
  • A college degree is preferred, but 3+ years of experience in purchasing / supply chain / inventory management is also appealing.
