Job description


Department: Accounting Title: Purchasing Student Assistant Pay Range: 16.90/hr Date: 6/28/2025
Location: Administration Building 107 Report to: Monique Camarena Hours: 25 hours per week
Period of Agreement: School Year
Purpose: Provide clerical duties and filing services to the controller and assistant controller.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform clerical duties in the purchasing department, including data entry, customer service, phone and email communication.
  • Assist in the purchasing order system.
  • Position requires confidentiality of information.

Job Specifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED. Must be currently enrolled at La Sierra University.
Experience: None required, will train.
Skills: Filing accuracy, typing skills.
Physical/Mental Demands: Regular office work environment. Physical labor is minimal.
